Another Nut From ACORN

During the ACORN pimping scandal (uh, I'm sorry ... that should be the "false entrapment of innocent ACORN workers by criminal college students" scandal), the main focus was on how stupid and inept this organization truly is. Of course, they are still respected by many Progressives but what else would you expect?

The problem with a scandal like this is that it's hugely funny. How could so many people be stupid enough to fall for the act of two clean scrubbed college kids playing the parts of pimp and hooker? I mean, these two looked like Marsha and Greg Brady. After this happened the first time, how could the national management of this organization be stupid enough to let it happen three more times? How could the national director be stupid enough to believe that people would buy her claim that this was just an anomaly? How could so many voters be stupid enough to vote for candidates who were even remotely associated with this band of thieves? The list goes on.

But while many of us were rolling on the floor laughing at these morons, we missed the true impact that this organization has had on national politics. We missed the importance of the felonious voter registration drives. We missed the illegal tampering at the polls by using voter intimidation (don't forget the case of the "New Black Panthers" in Philadelphia that was dropped by the Holder Justice Department - my money says ACORN had a hand in this.) We missed the impact that these criminals had on legitimate elections that were so important to us.

Think this is an exaggeration? How about the election of that fop Al Franken. In that election, ACORN brought over 40,000 "voters" to the polls and Franken won by a margin that was less than 1% of that number. In short, this rotten band of criminals got a US Senator elected who gave the Progressives (socialists) a bullet proof 60 vote majority in the Senate. This is the kind of damage that can be wrought by not being vigilant and destroying these front organizations. It is every American's right to speak freely and that includes forming organizations. It is not, however, our right to form criminal organizations and these bastards should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I'm still a big fan of using the federal RICO laws, but don't hold your breath for this as long as Obama is in office.

Read this and look at the smile on this smarmy bastard's face:

Now, the nuts at ACORN are suing the two college students who blew up their criminal enterprise. If anybody finds a web site where we can contribute to their defense, please send me a note and I'll publish it.

What to do? ACORN will only go away and reform under another banner, so watch for this. Keep the spotlight on them. Talk politics to friends and family, especially the ones who don't agree or who don't understand. Support conservative politicians. Vote in every election. Keep up the good fight.
