Global Warming Is Killing The Planet! Run And Hide!

Global Warming (er ... Climate Change) is facing a few problems. To start with, let's look at some recent headlines:

• Michigan - Record Low Temps - Breaks 1935 Record (10/02/2009)
• Chicago - August Ends With Near Record Cold (08/31/2009)
• Nashville - Gore's Hometown Breaks 1877 Cold Temp Record (07/21/2009)
• Green Bay - Green Bay Breaks 1943 Cold Record (06/07/2009)

Do you see a trend here? How does this compare with your summer? Pretty consistent, huh?

Now, rewind back to Katrina days. It was promised by the world's leading "experts" that the frequency and severity of hurricanes would continue to increase due to global warming. In fact we were even promised a few global "super storms" that would imperil the very existence of mankind! Oh! The humanity!

So after Katrina in 2005, lets look at the facts:

• 2006 - 0 hurricanes and 3 tropical storms hit the US
• 2007 - 2 hurricanes (both weak category 1) and 4 tropical storms hit the US
• 2008 - 4 hurricanes (1 category 1 and 3 category 2) hit the US
• 2009 - 0 hurricanes and 2 tropical storms have hit the US The season ends around late November

Nearly all of the above hurricanes dropped to tropical storm status immediately upon landfall. Damage was minimal. In all years, there were far fewer hurricanes than average that hit any country. Again, are you picking up a pattern?

Finally, all indications are that this winter will not only be cold ... it will be very cold. Now, I'm not sure I believe these "experts" any more than I believe the global warming "experts", but if my summer is any indication, I'm going with "cold as hell" for my winter forecast.

Our dear leader now wants to do a cap-in-trade scheme that will cost trillions of dollars (with a "T"), cripple American business and hobble the future of our kids and grandkids. He also wants us to drive little tiny death traps to reduce "greenhouse gases" (you know - CO2 - the stuff that plants breath while they are making oxygen.) All this to stop global warming, which in turn isn't even real. What global warming (climate change) is should be quite obvious. It is yet another way, in conjunction with socialized medicine and government control of business, for progressives to further control our economy in order to produce what they believe is a socialist utopia.

What to do? Do your homework. Study the subject. Know the facts. Then, the next time some global warming believer gets in your face, you can hit them with the truth. It may convince them they are wrong. And absolutely, don't forget to consistently hammer (respectfully) your elected representatives each and every time there is a threat of wasting money on such nonsense as "global warming."
